By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
She (Wisdom) standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Hear Me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of My mouth.
I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
My son, forget not My law; but let thine heart keep My commandments:
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
