Day 17, Day 3 of Week 3 – Monday, April 29, 2025

Dear Family,

Today is Tuesday, April 29, 2025. This is Day 3 of Week 3 in our Counting toward Pentecost. It is our 17th day of Counting.

The Israelites camping at Elim were no doubt enjoying the water of the 12 wells. Today, let us contemplate the qualities of the refreshing physical water they were enjoying and draw spiritual lessons from some very special Scriptures about the Living Water God provides for us on our wilderness journey.

Psalm 1:3 And He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth His fruit in His season; His leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever He doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 23:1-2 (1) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

Psalms 36:7-9 (7) How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings. (8) They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. (9) For with Thee is the fountain of life: in Thy light shall we see light.

Psalm 46:4-5 (4) There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. (5) God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Psalm 63:1 O God, Thou art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Psalm 107:35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

Jesus said we would be blessed if we thirsted for His righteousness. May God bless us with that thirst!

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
