Dear Family,
Today is Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Today is Day 31 and Day 3 of Week 5 in our Count to Pentecost.
Reading and studying God‛s Word needs to be a daily and a very important part in the life of every true Believer.
Here are two quotes on developing the daily habit of Bible Study;
The primary purpose of reading and studying the Bible is not to know the Bible but to know God; Dawn Klinge, American Author.
Oh, to be bathed in a text of Scripture, and to let it be sucked up in your very soul, till it saturates your heart; Charles Spurgeon.
Notice these words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
John 8:31-32 (31) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him; If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; (32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Even as Believers, sometimes we might get distracted by the cares and confusion going on around us in the world and get out of the habit of reading and studying the Scriptures. We might miss a day, then another; and, eventually Satan uses this to silently steal away our desire for the Word. Don‛t allow that to happen!
We need to remember and put into practice the Words of Jesus.
Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said; It is written (Deuteronomy 8:3); Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
John 6:35 (NIV) Then Jesus declared; I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.
And, we need to remember, His Words are Unleavened!
