He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain My words: keep My commandments, and live.

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they (Commandments) add to thee.

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
