For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He pondereth all his goings.

I (Wisdom) have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

He (LORD) layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he (LORD) is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

 My son, walk not thou in the way with them (sinners); refrain thy foot from their path:

Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
