And He (Jesus) said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And He (Jesus) left them, and departed.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

And if I (Jesus) go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

After that He (Jesus) poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded.

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
