He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

When thou goest, it (GOD’S LAW) shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it (GOD’S LAW) shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it (GOD’S LAW) shall talk with thee.

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Forsake her (Wisdom) not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
