The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Let not thine heart decline to her (symbolic of false ways) ways, go not astray in her paths.

He (wicked person) winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

For the lips of a strange woman (symbolic of wrong teachings) drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

He (God) keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints.
