Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

Let not thine heart decline to her ways (false ways), go not astray in her paths.

Bind them (God’s Law) continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.

Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

Exalt her (Wisdom), and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints.

Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you.

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
