The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. 

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men.

Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

For whoso findeth me (Wisdom) findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
