For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

Forsake her (wisdom) not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

He (God) layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
