A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but He casteth away the substance of the wicked.

For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

Bind them (Commandments) continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.

But as for me, I will come into Thy house in the multitude of Thy mercy: and in Thy fear will I worship toward Thy Holy Temple.

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of My mouth.
