Count to 50 for Pentecost 2020

Day 10, Day 3 of Week 2 – Tuesday, April 21, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Tuesday, April 21, 2020, Day 10 in our counting toward Pentecost. And, this is the 3rd day of Week 2.

In addition to the lessons regarding faith, trusting God, understanding God’s divine purposes involved in protecting, training, and proving His people that we have reviewed so far in our counting toward Pentecost, there are many more lessons.

During Week 2 God announced a wonderful promise to Israel.  Part of proving Israel involved God’s promise of healing and protection from the diseases of Egypt.

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

God revealed Himself as the YHVH Raphah, sometimes spoken as Jehovah Raphah.  The Hebrew word is Strong’s #7495 (healeth).  And, the word appears many times in Scripture.  One significant context in which this word is used is Isaiah 53.  The entire chapter describes much of the work of our Savior when He dwelled on earth as Man. The New Testament references the stripes and healing provided by the sacrifice of our Savior.  But, the wording is a bit different, and the tense of the verb is changed.  Notice the two verses.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed [#7495].

1 Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed [Greek, emphasis ours].

Even on the heels of Israel’s murmuring, God displayed His grace through awesome kindness and tender care, and He blessed Israel with promises of health.  What He asked them to do was what He had desired for them to do all along – listen to His voice, do what was right in GOD’s sight instead of their own, and keep all of His statutes and commandments.  If we examine the Biblical record carefully, we will notice that up to this point in the exodus God has said nothing to the Israelites about His commandments and statutes.  Yet, now Israel has been redeemed, delivered by the Great God.  They belong to Him.  God’s kindness is patently evident, and His grace abounded toward them.  And, they must still obey God.  God will rule us!  After all, God’s grace reigns through righteousness.

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Psalm 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

God bless you all!  Let us turn to this loving God with all of our hearts!  How sweet it is!

Day 9, Day 2 of Week 2 – Monday, April 20, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Monday, April 20, 2020; and, it is Day 9, and Day 2 of Week 2 in our Counting toward Pentecost.

May God grant us all eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to receive what He wants to give us.  God tells us through the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10 that what happened to the ancient Israelites was for our example and warning.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

During this second week of Counting toward Pentecost, the ancient Israelites encountered a rough wilderness terrain that remains basically unchanged even today. They walked on pebbly ground bounded by limestone hills along the way from the Red Sea to Marah, possibly modern day Hawwarah.  And, in the distance, they saw the wall, or the shur of mountains.

Israel’s three days of walking and finding no water ended at the pool of Marah, or bitterness; likely because of the nitre in the local soil. And, so the people murmured.  God miraculously intervened once again as He directed Moses to throw a special tree into the pool, and the waters were made sweet.

Exodus 15:25 And he [Moses] cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them.

What lesson is there for us in this situation?  How was God proving the Israelites?  What was the statute and the ordinance made for them?

One lesson that seems obvious to us now as we look back is that God always intended to provide and protect these people He had just delivered.  Yet, how easily we can all lack vision, lack faith, lose heart, be discouraged, and begin to murmur against God and the human leadership He provides.  Such feelings and behaviors are part of our human flesh.  Our eyes need to be upon God, not ourselves and physical conditions.  God led Israel to the worst tasting water around and showed them that He could make even that taste sweet!

It is only through God’s Holy Spirit that we can approach any challenging situation and please Him by reacting in a righteous manner.  God always intends to take care of us.  We are required to believe it!  And, we must constantly exercise faith!  God can and will turn any bitter situation sweet!

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

God wants to be trusted!  He deserves to be trusted!  He requires that we trust Him!  Being constant in prayer to God, asking Him to supply our every need, is one very important aspect of letting God know that we know (have faith, believe) He is worthy to be trusted!

May God bless us so that we are all truly rich in faith toward God!

Day 8, Day 1 of Week 2 – Sunday, April 19, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Sunday, April 19, 2020; this is Day 8; and, it is Day 1 of Week 2, in our Counting toward Pentecost.

The second week is known as the Week of Changing the Water of Marah. The word Marah means bitterness.

Exodus 15:22-25 (22) So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.  (23) And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore the name of it was called Marah.  (24) And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?  (25) And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them.

Finding no water was no surprise to God. However, the Israelites failed to see God’s purpose in this experience and murmured.  Israel had traveled for three days into a vast, challenging wilderness called the Wilderness of Shur.  The word shur means the wall.  This vast wilderness is described in Deuteronomy 8:15 as “that great and terrible wilderness.”  And, in Deuteronomy 32:10 it is described as “a desert land,” and “the waste howling wilderness.”

Indeed, the wilderness posed great potential hardship to a large group of people fresh out of slavery.  Yet, this group of people had just been miraculously delivered by the mighty hand of God.  Israel’s enemies were left dead upon the sea shore (Exodus 14:30).  And, God’s people saw “that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians” (v.31).

There are many lessons to be drawn from Israel’s experiences during this second week of counting toward Pentecost.  We will look at some of these lessons in the next few days.

God bless you with spiritual insight and wisdom!

Day 7 of Week 1 – Sabbath, April 18, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Sabbath, April 18, 2020; this is Day 7, Week 1, as we continue our Count to Pentecost. This is the end of the first week of seven full weeks of the counting.

Today we will begin looking at one of the many series of sevens in the Bible.  Some of them are related; like the 7 days of the week is related to the 1000-year plan for man; however, it would be a mistake to attempt to relate all series of sevens.  For example, it would be extremely difficult and probably completely erroneous to relate the 7th church era (Laodicea) in Revelation to the 1000 year reign of peace of Jesus Christ.  So, let us be careful in our approach to these series of sevens and not over interpret what we find in Scripture; and, let us not make as Doctrine any unwarranted comparisons.

Still, looking at series of sevens in the Bible can help us understand much about the Bible and how we are to live our lives.  And, in the upcoming weeks before Pentecost, I hope to share some information regarding series of sevens.

Today, we will begin with the series of seven Church eras. While these Church eras all coexisted on a mail route in New Testament times, all may still exist at the same time in some form today.  Also, these Church eras may be sequential or chronological in how Jesus Christ works with them; in their timed appearance on the world scene; and, in their level of influence on the world.  I do not consider these statements to be a matter of essential doctrine at this time.  They are just food for thought.

Name of Church Era:  Ephesus

Description/Characteristics: Ephesus was the Church of first love and had hatred for doctrine of Nicolaitan
Gift: The Spirit of the Lord
Warning: Return to first love and works
Reward: The tree of life

The Church at Ephesus was an Apostolic Church.  And, this Apostolic Church was where Christ began to build His Church on the Day of Pentecost.  This Church era was the first one in existence and had the opportunity to be the first to leave spiritual Egypt.

People in the Ephesians era of the Church turned the world upside down!  It was a Church of Jews and Gentiles, multicultural in many respects.  It was a Church with mighty leaders, many of whom had been directly educated by Jesus Christ.  It was a Church of great faith that witnessed fantastic supernatural interventions; like healings, resurrections back to life (Acts 9: 39-42 and 20:7-12); and, supernatural transportation (Philip, Acts 8).  This Church era saw great physical hardship at times, such as persecutions (Acts 8:1), and famine (2 Corinthians 8:1-4), etc.  And, it was a Church that also witnessed the beginnings of terrible false doctrine.

One thing we can learn from surveying the experiences of the first Church era is that God is completely in charge.  God has safely tucked away in a temporary death the members of the Body of Christ from that early Church beginning in the first century.  They were not wiped out.  They overcame to the end.  Jesus’ Church will never be overtaken by the gates of hell.  The early Christians are waiting for us to be perfected and for all “eras” to be completed.

As we count toward Pentecost, let us consider our ways and our current circumstances and make the count profitable!  Our God is a God of profit.  And, we are His workmanship.  We are His profit.  May we all submit to God’s fruitful and profitable building process. After all, we are the temple He is building.  Ephesians 2:8-22

Day 6 of Week 1 – Friday, April 17, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Friday, April 17, 2020; this is Day 6, Week 1, as we Count toward Pentecost.

As we count, let us make each day count by using our time wisely.  There are many ways to do this.  Can you use a little assistance to help you get started?  Let me suggest the following points to help you.  You may want to use the list as an inventory.

Remember, we are the purchased treasure God Himself has bought, making us part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation for His purposes!

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.  Notice the purpose for God’s calling us out of darkness.

Remember that God wants profit, so grow in grace and knowledge.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To him be glory both now and forever.  Amen.

Begin each day by thanking our God for what He has done for us.  Thank Him throughout the day.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Bless Him who blesses you.  Be sure to bless our Creator each and every day with all that is within.

Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Search out the places in our lives where we need God to continue to cleanse us and bring us into closer fellowship with Him.  Repent and confess where it is needed.

Ezekiel 18:30-32 (30) Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.  Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.  (31) Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?  (32) For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Ask God to give us a teachable heart.

Psalm 25:4-5 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Study the Word of God and ask God to make His Words dwell in us.  His Words are Spirit, and they are Life.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Realize our need for the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth.  Ask God for this gift daily.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Know with certainty that God loves you and is eager to help you and bless you daily.  Ask for His blessing, knowing He hears you.

Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Understand that you are Holy.  Determine to consecrate your whole being to the God Who loves you so much!  Give your life to God.

Romans 12:1-2 (1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Be ready to give an account for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

May God grant you His riches blessings!

Day 5 of Week 1 – Thursday, April 16, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Thursday, April 16, 2020; this is Day 5, Week 1, in our Count toward Pentecost.

During this week, Israel crossed out of Egypt by the mighty miracle of the parting of the Red Sea.  On the other side, Israel realized what had happened and believed God.

Exodus 14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and His servant Moses.

Moses composed a song, and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD. They joyously celebrated the great deliverance they had just seen and experienced.

Exodus 15:1-19 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will exalt him.  The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.  Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.  Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.  And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.  And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap; and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.  The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.  Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the might waters.  Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?  Thou, stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.  Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in they strength unto they holy habitation.  The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.  Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the might men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.  Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.  Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.  The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.  For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

And, along with the men singing Moses’ song, the Israelite women followed Miriam and danced and sang, with timbrels in their hands.

Exodus 15:20-21 (20) And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.  (21) And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for He hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea.

Do we celebrate the great deliverance we have seen and experienced in our own lives?  During this count toward Pentecost, let us make sure we do just that!

Day 4 of Week 1 – Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Wednesday, April 15, 2020; and, it is Day 4 of Week One in our Counting toward Pentecost.

This year Day 4 coincides with the Last Day of Unleavened Bread.  In Leviticus 23:6-8 God commands a holy convocation on the 1st day and the 7th day in the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Leviticus 23:6-8 (6) And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.  (7) In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.  (8) But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Clearly, the Bible inextricably connects the Feast of Unleavened Bread with the Feast of Weeks, or Pentecost.  It occurs in a number of places.  Notice the linking of the festivals in Deuteronomy.  During the celebration of the Feast of Weeks, God commanded the Israelites to remember their slavery in Egypt.

Deuteronomy 16:9-12 (9) Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn. (10) And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee: (11) And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.  (12) And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

Have a great feast day, and rejoice as we celebrate this Last Day of Unleavened Bread, the day when God took His people safely through the Red Sea.  The passage through the Red Sea represented a baptism, a death, a burial, and a resurrection.  It was a day of great deliverance!  The ancient Israelites were completely out of the bondage of Egypt!

Happy LDUB.  God bless you!

Day 3 of Week 1 – Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Tuesday, April 14, 2020; this is Day 3, Week 1, in our Counting toward Pentecost.

For the ancient Israelites, counting the 50 days, and marking the passing of 7 Sabbaths was a ritual they did yearly.  In Jewish history (tradition and historical records), we find that an omer or a sheaf of new barley was offered every day beginning with the wave sheaf offering.  The counting was tied directly to the spring harvest.

Scripturally, we can see that this ritual of counting between Passover and Pentecost is related to God’s firstfruits; that is, His spiritual spring harvest.  Compare the meaning of firstfruits in the following verses.

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 (20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  (21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Romans 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house.  Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

Perhaps as we count toward Pentecost, we will learn more about the meaning of this careful and repetitive counting.  Historically, Israel (more recently, just the “Jewish” people) have associated one of the Hebrew Patriarchs with each of the seven weeks of the counting.  During the first week, focus is placed on Abraham and the quality of loving kindness God demonstrated toward him.  During this week, let us turn our thoughts to that loving kindness God has demonstrated toward us.  And, let us reach out to others to share God’s love.

We love you.

Day 2 of Week 1 – Monday, April 13, 2020

Dear Family,

Today is Monday, April 13, 2020; and, this is Day 2, Week 1, in our Counting toward Pentecost.

To many students of the Bible, this first week in a series of seven, is referred to as the week of the crossing of the Red Sea.  We believe Israel crossed out of Egypt on the Last Day of Unleavened Bread.  Israel left Egypt on the 15th of the first month and crossed the Red Sea on the 21st of the first month.

Counting of the omer began on the morrow after the Sabbath during the Days of Unleavened Bread.  That would always place the beginning of the count on a Sunday and end on a Sunday.

The calendar the Pharisees used for centuries does not begin the count on the day after the weekly Sabbath; but rather, they count from the day after the first HIGH DAY; or, from the 16th of the first month.  According to their reckoning that would place Pentecost on a fixed calendar date; the 6th day of Sivan every year, and thus, Pentecost could occur on any day of the week.

That has seemed very strange to us as we read the Scriptures, because a fixed date actually does away with the need to “count.”  However, this has been a controversy for years; and, we want all of us to be aware that the controversy exists.  Many papers have been written and placed on the internet with contrary viewpoints.

While the Pharisees propagate their viewpoint, other Jewish authorities continue to count the days as we do.  Modern and ancient authorities, including Mr. Armstrong, the Kairites, the Samaritans, etc. have counted the day, rather than using a fixed date.

Perhaps in the coming months we will address this issue as needed.

Meantime, let us do as commanded and count 50, as well as noting the passing of seven full Sabbaths or weeks as found in Scripture.

Leviticus 23:15-16  (15) And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: (16) Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

Traditionally, the Jews read Psalm 67 each day during this Counting to 50.  (1) God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us; Selah. (2) That Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations.  (3) Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee. (4) O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for Thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.  (5) Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee; (6) Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.  (7) God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

This could almost be a theme for the COG, couldn’t it?  May God bless you richly.

Day 1 of Week 1 – Sunday, April 12, 2020

Dear Family!

Today is Sunday, April 12, 2020; and, it is Day 1 in our Counting toward Pentecost.

HE IS RISEN!  (Luke 24:6) And, HE HAS BEEN ACCEPTED OF THE FATHER!  Today is the day after the Sabbath during the Days of Unleavened Bread.  We begin counting 50 days starting today.

We will complete seven full Sabbaths; and then, comes the Feast of Pentecost.  There is great significance in these Feast days, and there is also great significance in actually counting 50 days, 7 Sabbaths (7 X 7 = 49) plus the fiftieth day.

During these Days of Unleavened Bread, it would be good to think upon Jesus being accepted of the Father as the Wavesheaf.  Scriptures pointing to this are throughout the Bible.  Here are a few:  Leviticus 23:11-15.  Also, compare John 20:17; where Jesus had not yet ascended to the Father and would not allow Himself to be touched; with Matthew 28:9; this is where Jesus allowed His disciples to hold Him by the feet and worship Him.  Thereafter, He remained with them for 40 days and then was taken up into heaven (Acts 1).

Over 2000 years ago, God prepared and accepted the spiritual Wavesheaf; and, the counting has begun.  As we do the counting physically now, day-by-day, let us learn the lessons God has prepared for us.

Leviticus 23:10-17 (10) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:  (11) And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.  (12) And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.  (13) And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.  (14) And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.  (15) And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:  (16) Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.  (17) Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

May God Bless you and put His name upon you.  You are the firstfruits He has chosen!
